Was saddened to hear today that Dr. Rush and the Administrative Team decided to remove me from their care because I had been away in Syracuse volunteering my time with serving the poor people in the City. I thought I had a good relationship with Dr. Rush , but I was wrong. He could not even take the time to speak to me in person. Instead, he has a staff member contact me with a new doctor referral. It looks like this organization cares less about the military vets that are suffering from severe PTSD or perhaps, because I am a gay man. I am both very surprised and saddened that a healthcare group would purposely limit the care that I can get in the North Country, considering most of the doctors belong to Samaritan. Way to go on forcing me to seek care elsewhere. I would not recommend this group to any veterans, service members or gay people. If you miss a few appointments, even though you rescheduled them, you are out! The truth is, money is apparently the most important thing to this organization, not caring for their patients. This is causing me a great deal of stress, THANKS SAMARITAN!
